Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position based in Doha requires a Construction Manager to oversee daily construction site operations. The individual will coordinate with project teams to ensure construction activities adhere to plans, specifications, and quality benchmarks. Key duties include managing schedules, supervising site staff and subcontractors, monitoring project advancements, and resolving challenges to maintain timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily site operations, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and oversee site personnel for efficient task execution.
• Monitor project timelines and progress to keep projects on schedule.
• Enforce strict safety procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
• Supervise budgeting activities and control project costs for optimal resource management.
• Handle materials and resources to support smooth workflow.
• Compile and deliver progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and MEP teams to integrate building services throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong supervisory capabilities to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
• Expertise in budgeting, project control, and optimizing schedules and resources.
• In-depth understanding of construction techniques and safety standards.
• Preferably holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline; certifications in project management or safety are advantageous.
• Proven track record managing medium to large construction projects, ideally involving MEP systems, especially in the GCC or comparable environments.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Competent in construction management software and Microsoft Office; capable of interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work on-site in Doha with professionalism and adapt to multicultural teams.
