Where you'll work

Job description

About the Role

This opportunity is for experienced quantitative professionals who want to contribute to AI training. You will work directly with advanced AI systems on assignments such as reviewing AI-produced quantitative reasoning, solving complex technical questions, and giving structured feedback that helps improve how these models handle data, analytical models, and scientific problems.

The role is well suited to people from quantitative backgrounds such as data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, and related disciplines. If you are comfortable thinking rigorously about data and models, your experience is likely relevant.

Some contributors use this work alongside a separate full-time job, while others focus on it as their main work.

How the Selection Process Works

After creating an account, you will complete a brief assessment that acts as the screening step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid assignments will be unlocked on the platform.

What Contracting Here Offers

  • You can decide which projects to take on and when to work.
  • The work can be done on your own schedule, on your own computer, from home.
  • Pay starts at USD 50 to USD 100+ per hour, and some projects may include bonus pay.

Responsibilities

  • Check AI-generated quantitative outputs for accuracy, including statistical analysis, predictive modeling, scientific interpretation, and evidence-based insights.
  • Create and solve quantitative problems that help train and test AI systems in areas such as forecasting, experimental analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
  • Produce clear technical write-ups and maintain well-structured analytical code.
  • Share feedback that helps improve the next generation of AI models for quantitative reasoning.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of practical experience in a quantitative role or research setting, such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or a similar field.
  • Basic coding ability is required, along with confidence in writing and reviewing analytical code from start to finish.
  • Hands-on familiarity with statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and experiment design, including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting.
  • Strong English fluency at native or bilingual level, with excellent written communication.
  • A bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering is preferred; a master's degree or PhD is an advantage.
  • Additional proof of expertise is a plus, including items such as Kaggle rankings or AWS/GCP machine learning certifications.

Additional Information

This is an independent contractor role. Payment is processed through PayPal, and currency conversion from USD will be handled by PayPal. No payment or fee will ever be requested from applicants. Only candidates based in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand will be considered.
