Community Manager — Novie

About the opportunity

Novamind Labs is an enterprise AI governance company focused on building the infrastructure that helps businesses make AI safe, traceable, and accountable. Its platform, Novie, is designed to help organisations move from unregulated shadow AI to a controlled, compliant, production-ready setup.

This opening is for the person who will shape the community around Novie from the ground up. Rather than joining an existing audience, you will create the community structure, define the ambassador experience, and turn early supporters into an active network of advocates.

In this founding role, you will work closely with the company’s leadership team, own the community strategy end to end, and help transform Novie from a product into a wider movement. As the community grows, so will the scope of the role and your pathway for progression.

What you will do

• Design and launch the Novie Ambassador Program, including its structure, levels, benefits, recognition approach, and growth path.
• Set up the process for finding, recruiting, onboarding, and supporting ambassadors.
• Develop the rewards, content, and recurring activities that keep ambassadors involved and motivated.
• Define the metrics that will be used to track the program’s performance and momentum.
• Grow an engaged community around Novie across the most relevant channels.
• Act as the welcoming and organising presence that helps members feel included and appreciated.
• Encourage discussion, highlight member stories, and build a strong sense of belonging.
• Collect community insights and channel feedback back to the product and leadership teams.
• Ensure community work is aligned with marketing, content, and event initiatives.
• Turn community enthusiasm into advocacy, referrals, and authentic word-of-mouth.
• Represent Novie’s calm, credible, enterprise-focused brand in all community interactions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in community management, ambassador or advocacy programmes, partnerships, or a closely related discipline.
• Proven ability to create a community or programme from scratch, rather than simply manage an existing one.
• Strong relationship-building capability and a natural ability to work well with people.
• Excellent coordination and project management skills, with the ability to manage several priorities at once.
• High-quality written and spoken English communication skills.
• Comfort working with AI, developer, or technology communities, including both technical and business audiences.
• A proactive, self-directed approach and the ability to thrive in an early-stage, fast-changing environment.
• Experience running an ambassador, advocate, champion, or membership-style programme is a strong advantage.
• Hands-on experience with social media and content is beneficial.
• Mandarin language ability is advantageous due to regional operations.
• Genuine interest in AI and enterprise technology is preferred.
• A builder-and-connector mindset, with the energy to create something people want to join.
• A warm, dependable, and organised working style that naturally draws people in.
• Comfort with ambiguity and enthusiasm for helping shape a role as the company grows.
• A long-term view, with an understanding that strong communities are developed steadily over time.
