Role Summary
The Commissioning Lead will be accountable for managing all commissioning-related work across data center construction projects. The role is critical to confirming that every project complies with applicable standards, codes, and regulations. You will collaborate closely with project teams, EPC contractors, subcontractors, and the Commissioning Agent to keep commissioning activities on schedule and ensure the quality of execution matches company expectations and industry best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and roll out detailed commissioning strategies for data center projects.
- Set the procedures, standards, and workflows that govern commissioning activities.
- Work with project stakeholders to build and maintain commissioning timelines.
- Assess the EPC contractor’s commissioning plan and provide review feedback.
- Help set up the project in commissioning software and manage the related project tool.
- Examine design documents and engineering drawings to confirm commissioning requirements are met.
- Review systems across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and IT infrastructure disciplines.
- Verify that all installed systems operate correctly and as designed.
- Prepare and carry out test plans for all data center systems.
- Oversee and execute functional performance testing, integrated systems testing, and reliability testing.
- Observe testing activities and review or approve commissioning reports and completed scripts.
- Track testing and commissioning records and report progress in commissioning software.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
- Higher qualifications or certifications in commissioning or project management will be considered an advantage.
- At least 8 years of commissioning experience, including 4 years in data center projects.
- Experience with hyperscaler commissioning processes is preferred.

This is a full-time, onsite position located in Tabūk, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
