Program Overview
This Commercial Trainee Program is designed to develop your full potential by immersing you in the agricultural commodity trading and processing sectors. The first year offers hands-on experience in one of ADM's European locations focusing on markets like trading, transportation, and processing. The second year expands this exposure with greater responsibility and autonomy at a different European site.
Learning and Development
You will follow a structured learning plan that aligns business needs with personal growth, supported by a mentor from ADM’s Trading team. The program includes training in contract law, logistics, contract execution, risk management, and financial aspects of trading decisions.
Career Path
Successful completion of the traineeship prepares you for trading roles or advancement into commercial management positions within ADM.
Candidate Profile
- Master’s or bachelor's degree, preferably in Economics, Business, or Agriculture.
- Genuine enthusiasm for agri-commodity trading.
- Strong analytical ability, results-driven attitude, and self-motivation with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficient communication and presentation skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel or relocate within Europe.
- Valid EU work permit is required.
