Position Overview

The Commercial Finance Analyst supports commercial planning, forecasting, and trade investment activities. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Finance, this role will collaborate closely with Senior Analysts and Managers to provide insightful financial reporting that aids Key Account Managers and sales leaders across various channels including National, Regional, Field, and Foodservice. This position offers early-career professionals an opportunity to develop expertise within a fast-paced, high-growth business setting. The role is fully onsite at our Headquarters in Boca Raton, FL, with no people management duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing detailed customer-level financial analyses and contribution margin models under guidance.
• Develop pricing and promotional templates for customer planning sessions.
• Provide data gathering, ad hoc reporting, and performance tracking support to KAMs.
• Maintain forecasting models by updating volume, pricing, and trade spending inputs.
• Monitor and update customer plan changes within planning tools.
• Facilitate data validation and consolidation during monthly forecasting.
• Help track forecast accuracy and summarize variances between plan and actual sales.
• Contribute to budget versus actual financial analysis by collecting data and assisting in variance reconciliation.
• Manage promotional calendars and trade investment records.
• Support post-event financial analysis and return on investment calculations.
• Organize promotional data and prepare summaries for business review meetings.
• Generate recurring reports regarding sales, trade expenditure, and customer profitability.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness in financial tools and dashboards, collaborating with IT and Finance to maintain data integrity.

Qualifications

• Up to 2 years of relevant experience in Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, or sales support roles; internships or entry-level experience considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline required.
• Proficient in Excel with a solid foundational understanding of financial statements.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong accuracy and completion skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities with capacity to work cross-functionally.

Additional Information

The base salary is commensurate with the candidate’s location, relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. Other compensation forms such as bonuses and Restricted Stock Units may be offered as part of company plans.
