Role overview
This opportunity is for an interim Commercial Finance Analyst to support Unilever’s Home Care business within a fast-moving global FMCG setting. The role is based at Blackfriars on London’s Victoria Embankment, a short walk from Blackfriars station.
It is a full-time temporary assignment running until the end of December 2026, with a working pattern of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The compensation is competitive and can reach up to £55,000 per year on a pro rata basis, depending on experience.
The role follows a hybrid model, combining remote and on-site working, with the balance subject to business needs.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close process and review actual and forecast performance to uncover insights, highlight issues, and support corrective actions.
- Help build and refine a robust performance tracking approach for core KPIs in collaboration with business units and global partners.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting and planning cycles alongside third-party service providers.
- Prepare, and where needed analyse, business cases for strategic initiatives and innovation projects within the business group.
Leadership and business partnering
- Work closely with business partners and finance stakeholders, gaining exposure to a range of leaders and functions.
- Contribute to shaping and delivering the Home Care business strategy by taking ownership of selected initiatives.
