Job description
Role Overview
This is a senior leadership opening with a well-established global organisation working in technology-enabled solutions and commercial services. The position focuses on driving strategic growth and partnerships in the Irish market.
The business is looking for a commercially focused leader with a strong background in winning large contracts, building key partnerships, and creating long-term revenue growth. A strong network across Ireland’s retail and commercial sectors, along with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, will be important.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute the commercial expansion plan for Ireland.
- Increase revenue by acquiring strategic accounts and broadening market presence.
- Develop and sustain senior-level relationships with important clients and partners.
- Identify, pursue, and close major business opportunities and commercial agreements.
- Handle complex negotiations, tenders, and contract discussions.
- Work closely with internal and international teams to deliver business goals.
- Review market movements and customer feedback to guide strategic choices.
- Lead, coach, and strengthen a high-performing commercial team.
Experience Required
- Background in a senior commercial, sales, or business development leadership position.
- Demonstrated success in securing high-value contracts and growing revenue.
- A well-developed network within Ireland’s retail, pharmacy, FMCG, or wider commercial sectors would be a strong advantage.
- Experience managing long and complex sales processes and dealing with senior decision-makers.
- Strong commercial judgement, negotiation ability, and stakeholder management skills.
- Capable of influencing at board and executive level.
- Experience in multinational or matrix-structured organisations is beneficial.
