Job description
Position Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Commercial Director to lead commercial efforts for a significant landmark development project located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves strategy development and overseeing procurement and package delivery throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities and Focus Areas
- Drive commercial strategy and lead procurement processes for the project.
- Manage the delivery of commercial packages from inception through to successful completion.
- Handle key work packages including Early Works & Track, MEP, and Finishes.
- Support pre-contract procurement activities initially, transitioning into full commercial management as the project advances.
- Maintain effective stakeholder relations and negotiate to safeguard project interests.
Qualifications and Experience
- 10 to 15 years of progressive leadership experience in commercial roles within the construction industry.
- Proven background working with recognized Tier 1 main contractors on large-scale construction projects.
- Extensive expertise in procurement and management of complex commercial packages.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation capabilities.
