Position Overview

The Commercial Account Manager role is a permanent position based in Dublin, offering a competitive salary ranging from 60000 to 80000 depending on experience. This hybrid role includes some regional travel. The ideal candidate will possess deep market and product knowledge of the commercial insurance sector and hold relevant professional qualifications such as APA, CIP, or MDI.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing commercial clients to ensure retention and satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans aimed at significantly expanding the commercial business segment.
  • Meet or exceed established financial targets and objectives.
  • Play an active role in the overall business development and growth.
  • Build and sustain strong partnerships with key insurance providers.
  • Establish trusted and effective communication channels with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and team to support a cooperative working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all audit and regulatory standards, completing CPD within required timelines and maintaining high-quality file records.

Candidate Profile

  • 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in a similar commercial account management or insurance sales role.
  • Highly self-motivated and driven with a passion for professional growth and sales success.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, coupled with extensive industry knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently with initiative as well as effectively contribute within a team setting.
  • Innovative mindset towards sales and business development strategies.
  • Proficient organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Working knowledge of insurance broker portals and systems.
  • Possession of recognized insurance qualifications such as APA, CIP, MDI, etc.
