Role overview
Brown & Brown UK is hiring a Commercial Account Handler for its Maidstone office. This position sits within the commercial team and reports through the Commercial Team Leader up to the Commercial Director. The role focuses on delivering excellent service to commercial clients while helping the business maintain strong long-term relationships, high retention, and advice that is both specialist and technically sound.
What the role involves
- Support commercial clients by providing responsive and professional customer service.
- Handle accurate administrative work tied to insurance accounts and client needs.
- Contribute to advice and service delivery that aligns with the company’s values and standards.
- Help build durable relationships with insurers and clients.
- Work in a team environment while also being able to manage tasks independently.
Experience and knowledge
No minimum education requirement is set for this role, and applicants without prior experience may still be considered. That said, experience in commercial insurance would be an advantage. Helpful technical knowledge includes Property Owners, Tradesman, SME Package Business, Commercial Combined, Combined Liability, and Contractors All Risk Covers. Familiarity with Acturis would also be beneficial.
