Job description
Role Overview
This position involves dedicating five sessions weekly to clinical research within the Department of HIV and Sexual Health at King’s College Hospital and the Faculty of Life Sciences and Medicine at King’s College London. The successful candidate will conduct research focused on the safety profile of tenofovir alafenamide among individuals with HIV who also have chronic kidney disease.
Key Responsibilities
The postholder will be required to register for a Medical Doctorate (MD) degree and develop expertise in research methodologies and statistics. They will actively participate in departmental and university educational and training programs. Occasionally, there may be opportunities to assist with HIV outpatient clinics and contribute to broader research initiatives within the HIV Research Group. Supervision will be provided through designated educational and clinical mentors, and the candidate is encouraged to undertake study leave outside the organisation to enhance their skills and knowledge.
