Job Summary

The Clinical Research Coordinator supports the daily management of clinical research projects, ensuring efficient data collection, participant consent, and documentation. This role involves collaboration in grant preparation and regulatory submissions to support study compliance and progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and systematically record study data, entering all information accurately into the designated database.
• Secure informed consent from participants with minimal oversight and provide education about study protocols and requirements.
• Assist with various study-related procedures, including participant screening, answering inquiries, registering subjects with sponsors, and administering lifestyle assessments.
• Contribute to grant application preparations and manage submissions to Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Grants and Contracts Office (GCO).
• Maintain thorough source documents and participant records as per hospital standards, ensuring data integrity through detailed chart reviews.
• Handle clinical specimens by securing, transporting, and shipping them in accordance with study protocols.
• Prepare documentation and materials for monitoring visits to ensure compliance.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to facilitate research activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific discipline or related field is required.
• No prior experience is mandatory; however, one year of research experience is preferred.

Compensation

The salary for this role ranges annually from $58,661 to $73,530, with actual pay dependent on the candidate's education, experience, and operational requirements. This range excludes bonuses or other additional compensation elements.
