Role overview
TRIO is hiring a Clinical Research Associate to support its Monitoring Resource team. The role reports to the CRA Line Manager and is offered as a remote, full-time freelance position based in Ireland.
Key responsibilities
- Review source records and verify trial data against original documents.
- Carry out on-site visits for pre-study, site initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out activities.
- Make sure all work follows FDA, ICH-GCP, and local regulatory requirements.
- Support proper implementation of FDA and ICH-GCP standards at site level.
- Take part in budget discussions and related follow-up tasks when needed.
- Assist with data checks and resolution of data queries.
- Provide guidance and support to junior colleagues where required.
- Ensure regulatory files are completed and collected appropriately.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of monitoring experience in oncology clinical trials.
- Prior exposure to early-phase trial monitoring will be an advantage.
- A science-based bachelor’s degree is required.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and the clinical monitoring workflow.
- Solid working knowledge of ICH-GCP principles.
- Experience using clinical trial information systems.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% on average.
- Candidate must be legally permitted to work in the country.
