Job description

Role overview

This is a remote Clinical Recruiter opportunity for candidates based in the United States. The role sits with a partner organization that will handle applications and the rest of the hiring process. You will support a fast-scaling, mission-led healthcare business by finding and securing strong clinical talent, with a particular focus on Nurse Practitioners and Physicians.

The position is highly hands-on and independent. You will work closely with hiring leaders and clinical stakeholders to translate staffing needs into practical recruiting plans, build sustainable pipelines, and help ensure that all hires meet licensure, compliance, and credentialing expectations. The work is centered on improving access to care through efficient, high-quality clinical hiring in a fast-moving, remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with hiring managers and clinical partners to clarify role expectations, license requirements, hiring priorities, and recruiting timelines.
  • Identify and reach out to clinical candidates through job boards, professional networks, referrals, LinkedIn, and healthcare associations.
  • Use ATS systems, recruiting databases, and AI-enabled tools to drive targeted sourcing and outreach.
  • Develop and maintain strong pipelines for both immediate and future clinical hiring needs.
  • Evaluate candidates for clinical credentials, licensure status, and overall fit for the role.
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for clinical positions and help create a smooth candidate journey.
  • Share market intelligence on candidate supply, compensation trends, and multi-state licensing considerations.
  • Partner with stakeholders to improve sourcing approaches and hiring outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare hiring standards and credentialing rules throughout the process.
  • Refine sourcing methods continuously to improve speed, quality, and pipeline health.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in healthcare or clinical recruiting, with emphasis on Nurse Practitioners and/or Physicians.
  • Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced startup or high-growth setting, preferably in digital health or telemedicine.
  • Solid understanding of clinical credentialing, licensure rules, and multi-state compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing and attracting candidates for specialized, licensed healthcare roles.
  • Ability to manage several open requisitions at once while staying organized and prioritizing effectively.
  • Strong passive sourcing capabilities, including advanced search and outreach techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with ATS platforms such as Lever or comparable systems.
  • Comfort using AI tools to improve recruiting workflows and candidate sourcing.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for working with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical approach to evaluating talent markets and adjusting strategy accordingly.
  • Self-directed, well organized, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote-first setup.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay of $60 to $80 per hour, with up to 35 hours of work each week.
  • Flexible remote-first arrangement across the United States.
  • Chance to contribute to a healthcare mission focused on expanding access to care.
  • Exposure to digital health innovation and AI-powered healthcare tools.
  • Collaborative, values-based culture that emphasizes impact and teamwork.
  • Opportunity to work alongside experienced clinical and operational leaders.
  • High degree of ownership over your own recruiting pipelines and strategies.
  • Work that supports improved access to primary care for diverse patient groups.
