Clinical Dietitian

Role overview

DOC Medical Center is looking for a Clinical Dietitian to support patient care in a hospital or clinical environment in Doha, Qatar. The position focuses on delivering medical nutrition therapy, creating therapeutic diet plans, and coordinating nutrition care for complex cases alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Mandatory eligibility

• Applicants must already be living in Qatar and hold a valid QID.
• A valid DHP license is required.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is necessary.
• This opportunity is open only to local candidates.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from an accredited institution is the minimum educational requirement.
• Candidates should bring at least 5 years of clinical dietetics experience in Qatar.
• Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is mandatory.
• Hands-on expertise in Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and therapeutic meal planning is essential.
• Experience handling complex patient cases and working with multidisciplinary care teams is needed.
• Good working knowledge of MoPH regulations, clinical workflows, and documentation standards is expected.
• Strong proficiency with EMR/HIS systems and accurate clinical record-keeping is required.
• The role calls for proven patient counselling skills and the ability to support dietary adherence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are important.
• Spoken Arabic is an added advantage.
