Overview

Habit Health is hiring two customer-focused Clinic Administrators for fixed-term assignments in Auckland. This role suits someone who enjoys working in a busy healthcare setting, staying organised, and delivering a smooth experience for clients and clinicians alike. It can fit an experienced administrator, receptionist, or coordinator who is comfortable supporting day-to-day clinic operations.

Available locations and fixed-term dates

  • Wairau Clinic: full-time fixed-term role from 22 June 2026 to 18 August 2026.
  • Fred Thomas Clinic: full-time fixed-term role from 24 July 2026 to 28 August 2026.
  • Applicants should specify in their application whether they are interested in one location or would like to be considered for both.

What the role involves

  • Keeping clinician calendars organised to support efficient appointment scheduling.
  • Working with ACC to raise invoices, register claims, and reconcile payments.
  • Handling client payments and maintaining accurate banking records.
  • Managing debtor follow-up and control processes.

Candidate profile

The ideal person will bring a welcoming, approachable manner and a strong service mindset. Experience in a customer-facing administration role is preferred, particularly in healthcare. Confidence with Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with a wide range of people are important. A full, valid New Zealand driver licence is required.
