About the role

Civeo Australia is looking for a seasoned Cleaning Manager to support its operations in Western Australia. The position leads cleaning activities across the company’s village portfolio and involves overseeing service delivery, people management, and day-to-day operational performance.

This role follows a 5 days on, 2 days off roster and requires frequent travel throughout Western Australia to assist village teams and maintain dependable, safe, and high-standard cleaning services. You will be responsible for guiding cleaning supervisors and teams covering housekeeping, general facilities, and mine-site cleaning, while strengthening compliance, service quality, and ongoing improvement.

The role is key to supporting customer satisfaction, operational effectiveness, and a strong safety mindset across multiple locations.

About you

We are seeking a hands-on leader from a cleaning or hospitality operations background who is comfortable working across multiple sites and changing priorities. You should be confident building relationships with site leaders and clients while keeping teams aligned and motivated.

You will need to be organised, safety-conscious, and able to balance service delivery with compliance, quality, and cost management. Leading by example, communicating clearly, and helping teams perform consistently will be central to success in this role.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and support cleaning supervisors and operational teams across several sites.
  • Oversee housekeeping, general facilities cleaning, and mine-site cleaning services.
  • Maintain compliance with cleaning standards, HSQE requirements, and internal procedures.
  • Coordinate cleaning schedules, audits, and quality checks.
  • Drive service excellence, operational consistency, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets and scheduling requirements effectively.
  • Work closely with site leaders and clients to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Use administrative tools such as Microsoft Word and Excel to support reporting and coordination.
  • Monitor chemicals, equipment, and stock control processes.
  • Travel regularly across Western Australia as required.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or site-based cleaning leadership.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong understanding of HSQE legislation, cleaning standards, and compliance obligations.
  • Experience managing cleaning schedules, audits, and quality inspections.
  • Knowledge of ISO, HACCP, and related quality frameworks.
  • Ability to handle scheduling and budget responsibilities.
  • Good administrative capability using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of chemicals, equipment, and stock control.
  • Based in Perth and able to travel regularly throughout Western Australia.
  • Current driver’s licence.

Application and onboarding process

  • Submit your application to be considered.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the recruitment team and business leaders.
  • Successful candidates must agree to background screening, including psychometric testing.
  • Pre-employment medical assessment is required.
  • If selected, you will sign the contract and receive your uniform.
  • You will also need to complete all site and company inductions, both online and in person.
  • Once the onboarding steps are completed, you can begin work.
