Job Overview
This role is based at CGT, 250 Bowie Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M6E 4Y2, Canada. The selected candidate will work under the direction of the Line/Section Supervisor to inspect finished products against the standard worksheet, identify issues, clean the items, and help ensure quality output matches Canada Goose’s first-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
The position focuses on final product inspection and cleaning within a manufacturing environment. The worker will examine finished goods, flag defects, record defect information in the system, and use appropriate tools and cleaning materials to prepare products for release. The role also requires maintaining productivity targets, supporting efficiency goals, and keeping the workstation orderly and compliant with company standards.
Detailed Duties
- Evaluate completed products and confirm they meet Canada Goose’s first-quality expectations.
- Use the provided standard worksheet as the basis for inspection.
- Identify flaws on products and enter defect information into the system.
- Work toward daily productivity targets while protecting quality standards.
- Use tools such as air guns, oil spray, cleaning solutions, and clippers as needed during inspection and cleaning.
- Strive to meet or exceed the company’s efficiency target of 100%.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and well maintained.
- Follow all company policies, health and safety rules, and the code of conduct.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should understand common sewing and fabric defects and be comfortable working in apparel or manufacturing environments, which would be considered an asset. Strong manual dexterity, steady hand control, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions are important for success in this role. The candidate should be able to solve problems, take initiative, work independently or in a team, and communicate clearly in English. Standing for the full shift is required, and the person must be comfortable working in a production facility with some noise.

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $18.62 to $20.59. The stated range is provided as guidance only and is not a guaranteed offer. Final pay will depend on experience, skills, and role alignment, along with market data and internal equity considerations.
