Role Overview

Royal York Property Management, a prominent property management firm overseeing numerous residential rentals throughout Ontario, is seeking dependable and meticulous Cleaners to join their expanding team of cleaning professionals. This position predominantly involves move-in and move-out cleaning, vacant unit turnovers, and routine housekeeping in occupied homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out move-in and move-out cleaning services for residential rental homes.
• Perform thorough turnover cleaning in vacant apartments and houses.
• Deliver regular housekeeping services in occupied residences as needed.
• Clean essential areas including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, floors, and common touchpoints.
• Complete detailed cleaning tasks such as wiping baseboards, cleaning inside cabinets, and appliances.
• Utilize a mobile work application for receiving assignments, accessing instructions, GPS navigation, uploading photos, and updating job statuses.
• Assess cleanliness before departure to ensure standards are met.
• Report any property damages, maintenance issues, or locations that cannot be adequately cleaned.
• Travel independently between cleaning sites using a personal vehicle.

Candidate Requirements

• At least two years of compensated experience in professional cleaning roles.
• Proficient in both move-in/move-out cleaning and routine housekeeping tasks.
• Ownership of a dependable vehicle to commute between assignments and transport cleaning materials.
• Possession of personal cleaning supplies and equipment necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Must own a compatible smartphone able to run workplace applications, navigate via GPS, capture clear images, and update tasks.
• Comfortable cleaning detailed surfaces such as floors, cabinets, appliances, and baseboards.
• Ability to work autonomously and adhere to cleaning directives.
• Basic proficiency in English communication.
• Punctual, reliable, and comfortable with GPS-verifiable check-in times.
