Job details

Location: Tsawwassen, BC

Shift type: Full-time

Working days: Saturday to Wednesday

Working hours: 10:00am to 6:00pm

Pay rate: $20.26 per hour

Role summary

This role focuses on keeping the building clean, welcoming, and ready for use at all times. The work includes caring for shared areas and washrooms, along with routine floor and surface cleaning.

Duties

• Clean and maintain shared rooms, kitchens, and washroom areas.
• Sweep and mop floors as needed.
• Wash windows and keep blinds free from dust.
• Remove waste and dispose of it correctly.
• Keep cleaning tools and supplies in clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
• Observe the site for maintenance issues and report any needed repairs or replacements.

Skills and abilities

• Familiarity with cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and processes.
• WHMIS certification is considered an advantage.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to move, bend, reach, and kneel.
• Capacity to lift, push, and pull loads of up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

• Must be able to successfully complete a Canadian background check.
