The Opportunity
An opening is available for a dependable and motivated cleaner to work at one of the company’s retail locations. The position suits someone who works well in a busy setting, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments.
This is a part-time onsite role with the following roster: Wednesday to Saturday, 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is based on the relevant award rate.
Key Duties
- Carry out routine cleaning tasks to a consistently high standard.
- Clean upholstered and other furnishings by spot treatment where needed.
- Sweep and mop floors as part of regular site upkeep.
- Maintain cleanliness of toilets and wash areas.
- Collect and remove rubbish from the site.
- Clean glass surfaces, including both inside and outside areas.
- Dust hard surfaces throughout the premises.
About You
The ideal candidate has previous cleaning experience, preferably in a commercial environment. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, able to follow instructions accurately, and capable of keeping pace in a fast-moving workplace.
Strong customer service skills, a high level of reliability, punctual attendance, and a good eye for detail are important. A sound understanding of Work Health and Safety practices is also required. Flexibility to work public holidays and varied hours when needed is expected. Experience using floor-care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers will be considered an advantage.
