About the Opportunity
Cavendish Road State High School is looking for a dependable, well-organised cleaner to join the team in a permanent full-time capacity. This role supports a positive school environment by helping keep the campus clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors.

Role Overview
In this position, you will provide cleaning support that helps the site run smoothly and ensures the school environment is maintained to the expected standard under the approved school cleaning program and direction of the supervisor.
Key Duties
- Carry out routine cleaning and sanitising across school areas such as classrooms, offices, amenities, and sick bays.
- Keep floors, glass, furniture, equipment, and outdoor spaces clean and well presented.
- Handle waste collection, litter management, graffiti removal, and basic upkeep tasks.
- Use and care for cleaning tools, equipment, and consumables.
- Assist with site security by opening and securing buildings and operating security systems where required.
- Escalate maintenance, safety, and security concerns, and work with school leadership on cleaning needs and supply requirements.
- Offer help and directions to visitors when needed.
