Job Overview

Homestead Land Holdings Limited is hiring a Cleaner based in Ottawa, Ontario. This full-time position involves working 40 hours weekly with weekend shifts scheduled every alternate week. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, safety, and the presentation of various residential and communal areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, laundry facilities, and amenity rooms.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming tasks.
• Ensure cleanliness of elevators, lounges, laundry and fitness rooms.
• Clean tenant units that have become vacant, paying special attention to bathrooms and kitchens including appliances such as ovens and refrigerators.
• Handle winter snow removal duties.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in professional cleaning preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 kilograms of equipment or materials.
• Dependability, keen attention to detail, and commitment to safe work procedures.
