Class C Driver / Street Cleaning Driver (m/f/d)

About the role

ALBA is looking for a full-time driver in Braunschweig to support municipal cleaning and waste services. The position is scheduled to start on 01.06.2026 and is initially limited to one year. Working hours are 39 per week.

Your tasks

• Work together with the team to keep streets clean and maintain roadside greenery across the Braunschweig city area.
• Empty litter bins and underground waste containers, clean container stations, and carry out street sweeping both manually and with machinery.
• Take on additional duties as needed, including leaf clearance in autumn, post-event cleaning, and winter service support.
• Support the municipal waste collection team as a driver.

What you bring

• Preferably several years of experience as a professional driver, ideally including work with sweepers, winter-service vehicles, or waste collection vehicles.
• Valid category C driving licence and the required professional driver qualification.
• Basic German language skills in speaking and writing, along with solid local knowledge of the Braunschweig area.
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system, be on call for winter service, and work in all weather conditions.
• Motivation, dependability, a hands-on attitude, and the ability to work independently.
