Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled workers' compensation claims examiner to manage and oversee claims involving litigated cases, extended loss time, and complex medical issues. The role is primarily home-based and focuses on working closely with clients to reduce costs and risks while facilitating the return of injured workers to their jobs.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle workers' compensation claims including those that are litigated and involve significant losses.
- Collaborate with clients to control exposure and costs related to claims.
- Assist injured employees in their journey back to work.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least three years of progressive experience managing workers’ compensation claims, specifically with litigated claims and large loss files.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
