About the Role
Zurich North America is hiring customer-focused professionals for its Claims Call Center team, with a start target in early August 2026. This role is designed for someone who communicates well, works independently, and enjoys helping customers navigate claims situations. A comprehensive 6-week training program is provided to prepare you for the job from day one.
The position is fully remote, including training. Candidates must live in the United States, and the preferred time zones are CST, PST, and MST.
What You Will Do
- Handle first notice of loss claim reports coming in through phone and non-phone channels, making sure each case is recorded accurately and on time.
- Work through more complicated claim questions and issues, escalating them when needed to ensure customers and coworkers receive clear, effective support.
- Coordinate with internal teams and outside clients to verify details, share information, and resolve concerns efficiently.
- Share feedback and ideas that can help improve the quality of customer service across the team.
- Work in line with company procedures and follow risk and compliance requirements carefully.
Schedule and Work Setup
This is a full-time remote position with an 8-hour shift scheduled between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, in Central Standard Time. The role includes remote training as well.
Home office expectations include a dedicated workspace that is quiet and free from distractions, along with a stable high-speed internet connection of at least 5 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download.
Compensation and Benefits
The role offers an hourly pay range of $17.79 to $21.64. There is also eligibility for a 5% short-term incentive bonus. Compensation is influenced by role, location, skills, and experience.

Basic Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 months of customer service experience
- Experience with data entry
Preferred Experience and Skills
- At least 6 months of call center experience
- Strong data entry ability and typing speed of 32 WPM or higher
- Comfort using Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to move quickly between multiple screens and browsers with accuracy
- Strong reading comprehension and a professional manner
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Insurance knowledge is preferred
