Role Overview

Zurich is hiring confident, personable, and self-driven customer care professionals to join its Claims Call Center team in early August 2026. This position includes a comprehensive six-week training program designed to prepare you for the role. Candidates must live in the United States, and the preferred time zones are CST, PST, and MST.

What You Will Do

• Handle first notice of loss claim reports received through phone and non-phone channels, making sure they are processed promptly and accurately.
• Address complicated claims questions and issues, and escalate them when needed to ensure customers and coworkers receive clear and effective support.
• Work with internal and external contacts to exchange information, confirm details, and resolve questions or concerns efficiently.
• Share ideas and feedback with the team to help raise the standard of customer service.
• Adhere to company procedures and comply with risk and regulatory requirements.

Schedule and Work Setup

This is a fully remote role, including training. The shift is an 8-hour schedule within operating hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, based on Central Standard Time.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range for this position is $17.79 to $21.64, and the role is eligible for a 5% short-term incentive bonus. Compensation is determined by role, location, skills, and experience, and may also include merit increases and bonus opportunities. Benefits include PTO, a 401(k) match, medical coverage, vision coverage, dental coverage, and career mobility. Overtime pay may also be available.

Work From Home Requirements

• A dedicated workspace that is free from noise and other distractions.
• A stable high-speed internet connection of at least 5 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• At least six months of customer service experience.
• Experience with data entry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months of call center experience.
• Strong data entry ability and typing speed of 32 words per minute or higher.
• Comfort using Windows-based operating systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to move quickly between multiple computer screens and web browsers with accuracy.
• Strong comprehension, a professional manner, and excellent verbal and written communication.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Insurance knowledge is an advantage.
