Civil Engineer - Maintenance

Job Overview

We are seeking a Civil Engineer focused on maintenance for a prominent Government client located in Dubai, UAE. The role involves the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks predominantly for building structures, particularly transmission substations, while adhering strictly to safety standards.

Primary Duties

• Carry out all preventive and corrective civil maintenance operations on buildings, especially transmission substations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs of civil infrastructure to guarantee reliable operations.
• Utilize a strong grasp of building design, detailed specifications, and civil maintenance procedures.
• Oversee maintenance scheduling and keep precise records using appropriate software, with a preference for SAP.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in civil maintenance of buildings within reputable construction or maintenance firms.
• Comprehensive knowledge of building design, specifications, and maintenance standards.
• Background in transmission substation maintenance is advantageous.
• Possession of a valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
• Proficiency in computer skills; experience using SAP is preferred.
• Strong awareness and understanding of workplace health and safety protocols.
