Shree Nandi Properties is a dynamic and rapidly expanding real estate developer focused on premium residential layouts and plotted developments in and around Hubballi, Karnataka. The company is seeking to bolster its engineering team to efficiently deliver high-quality layout infrastructure and residential construction projects.

Position Summary

The role demands a skilled Civil Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to autonomously oversee residential layout development and house construction projects. This position requires considerable technical expertise, strong site management capabilities, and aptitude for coordinating with contractors, consultants, government authorities, and internal units.

Responsibilities

Manage entire layout development processes from start to finish, including roads, drainage, water supply, electrical conduits, compound walls, parks, and clear air sites.
Collaborate with surveyors to mark and set out layouts; verify elevations, gradients, slopes, and measurements according to approved drawings and regulations.
Supervise daily progress ensuring alignment with schedules and conduct regular quality inspections.
Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress documentation, certify contractor measurements before billing, and closely monitor material usage to reduce waste.
Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, and utility contractors, ensuring safety compliance at all times.
Oversee residential construction work stages including excavation, footing, PCC, RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, electrical and plumbing, painting, and finishing.
Ensure adherence to structural designs and coordinate with architects and consultants to uphold quality and labor productivity.
Manage quality control by inspecting raw materials, concrete mix, reinforcements, dimensions, and finishes, maintaining QA/QC records and preventing rework through vigilant checks.
Handle cost estimation tasks such as preparing BOQs, verifying contractor bills, monitoring budgets and material costs, and aiding management in financial optimization.
Maintain comprehensive documentation including progress and material consumption reports, labour attendance, billing records, measurement books, site inspections, photo evidence, and project completion reports.

Qualifications & Skills

Must hold a B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience specifically in residential layout development and house construction projects.
Valid driving license is preferred.
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, RCC and road construction, drainage and water supply systems, site supervision, billing, and measurement book management.
Familiarity with Civil 3D, MS Project, Total Station, and basic Revit is advantageous.
Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent planning, problem-solving, communication, contractor management, time management, decision-making, attention to detail, cost consciousness, and quality-oriented approach.

Material wastage maintained below targeted levels.
Zero occurrence of major quality faults or safety violations.
Consistent submission of daily progress reports and precise verification of contractor bills.

Additional Information

The role reports directly to the Managing Director. Salary will be determined based on experience and capabilities. Candidates with proven site execution experience in layout development and residential construction will be prioritized.
