Job description
Role overview
This is an experienced-level relationship management position focused on CitiGold clients in Abu Dhabi. The role calls for strong product knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to contribute to process improvement, client outcomes, and team effectiveness. It involves handling moderately complex situations, using analytical thinking to weigh options, and communicating clearly with clients and colleagues. The position also includes informal or formal leadership responsibilities, including mentoring and training newer team members.
Client account management
- Understand CitiGold customer needs and asset allocation by proactively engaging clients and confirming their financial priorities.
- Recommend ways to deepen relationships, including bringing in additional funds and offering suitable fee-based products and services aligned to current and future needs.
- Assess product usage across the assigned portfolio and identify customers who may benefit from tailored offerings to increase product penetration.
- Maintain active coverage of client relationships through engagement, risk profiling, and financial planning.
- Plan and host customer events that strengthen engagement and loyalty.
- Develop new CitiGold relationships by converting referral opportunities into customers.
Compliance, risk, and controls
- Follow KYC, AML, and all other compliance requirements without compromise.
- Apply sound risk judgment in business decisions, protecting the firm’s reputation, clients, and assets.
- Adhere to laws, regulations, internal policy, and ethical standards.
- Escalate, track, and report control-related issues with transparency.
Qualifications
The role typically requires 5 to 8 years of relevant experience. Applicants should be able to manage both internal and external relationships, prioritize effectively, and hold the mandatory certifications needed for the sale of financial products.
Education
A bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
