Origin Child Development Center (Origin CDC) is a comprehensive pediatric rehabilitation facility focused on providing scientifically supported therapies for children experiencing developmental delays, neurological issues, orthopedic challenges, genetic disorders, and other special needs. The multidisciplinary team includes experts such as Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Behavior Therapists, Special Educators, Psychologists, and Pediatric Physiotherapists who collaborate closely to maximize each child's development.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physiotherapy evaluations using standardized tools tailored for pediatric patients.
• Create customized treatment plans addressing the unique needs and growth objectives of infants, children, and adolescents.
• Implement therapeutic interventions grounded in evidence, utilizing playful and functional strategies to enhance engagement.
• Foster gross motor skill advancement including abilities like rolling, sitting, crawling, standing, walking, running, jumping, and balance.
• Provide treatment to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Developmental Delays, Muscular Dystrophy, Genetic Disorders, Neurological and Orthopedic conditions.
• Administer gait training, posture improvement techniques, strengthening and stretching exercises, balance and coordination activities, plus functional mobility tasks.
• Develop and instruct families on tailored home exercise regimens.
• Maintain meticulous records of assessments, therapy progress, and discharge summaries adhering to organizational and professional standards.
• Educate and guide parents and caregivers on therapy objectives, exercises, positioning, developmental milestone expectations, and encourage active involvement during sessions.
• Collaborate productivity with a multidisciplinary team consisting of Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Behavior Therapists, Special Educators, Clinical Psychologists, and Pediatricians supporting integrated treatment planning and case discussions.
• Uphold ethical practice, ensure patient safety and infection control, engage in professional development and quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications & Skills

• Mandatory: Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)
• Preferred: Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) specializing in Pediatrics or Neurology
• Registration with the relevant State Physiotherapy Council
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to utilize play-based therapy effectively with children
• Proficient documentation and clinical reasoning capabilities
• Collaborative team player with empathetic and child-sensitive approach
• Knowledge of at least two languages among English, Hindi, and Telugu is preferred

Work Schedule & Location

This is a full-time position based at Origin Child Development Center, Santoshnagar, Hyderabad, India, with working hours from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.

Compensation & Benefits

The role offers a competitive monthly salary between 20000 and 25000 INR, dependent on qualifications and experience, along with performance-based annual reviews, opportunities for continuing professional growth, a supportive multidisciplinary environment, and career advancement prospects within the organization.
