Job description
Company Overview
DeltaCore Strategies is a specialist investment strategy firm operating in cryptocurrency derivatives. The firm supports high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and qualified investors with advanced trading approaches, market intelligence, and risk management support.
Rather than holding or directly managing client assets, the firm follows a strategy-led, performance-oriented model built on institutional-level market expertise, sophisticated data analysis, and disciplined operating practices aimed at creating durable client value.
As the company grows across North America and international markets, it is forming a senior leadership team to support scalable expansion, operational strength, and a clear long-term vision.
Role Summary
The Chief Strategy Officer will sit on the executive leadership team and shape the company’s long-range direction. The role calls for strong knowledge of digital asset markets, especially derivatives, along with proven ability in scaling businesses, positioning against competitors, and leading across functions.
This leader will partner closely with the CEO and senior executives to spot growth opportunities, improve the business model, and keep strategic plans aligned with day-to-day execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and drive the organization’s long-term strategy across offerings, market focus, and client groups.
- Convert broad movements in digital assets into practical business plans.
- Own strategic planning cycles and support executive-level decision making.
- Study cryptocurrency derivatives markets, institutional trends, and the competitive landscape.
- Spot new opportunities in structured products, quantitative strategies, and alpha generation.
- Use market and business data to inform capital deployment and priority setting.
- Lead growth initiatives in North America and other international markets.
- Identify, assess, and execute partnerships, joint ventures, and ecosystem integrations.
- Assist with institutional client acquisition in collaboration with growth and investor relations teams.
- Keep strategy, product, trading, and risk functions aligned.
- Work with research, technology, and operations leaders to strengthen execution.
- Define KPIs and performance frameworks linked to strategic goals.
- Evaluate M&A opportunities, strategic investments, and potential new business lines.
- Support fundraising planning, investor messaging, and long-term capital strategy.
Qualifications
- At least 20 years of experience in strategy, investment management, or leadership roles in digital assets, hedge funds, or financial services.
- Strong command of cryptocurrency markets, with particular depth in derivatives such as options, futures, and structured products.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, scaling organizations, and delivering results in fast-growing environments.
- Advanced analytical and financial modeling ability, with the skill to turn complex market information into clear direction.
- Experience serving institutional clients such as family offices, high-net-worth individuals, or asset allocators.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Entrepreneurial approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving and changing sector.
Preferred Background
- Exposure to quantitative finance, trading strategy, or market microstructure.
- Experience at a crypto-native business, proprietary trading firm, or hedge fund.
- Working knowledge of regulatory conditions in the U.S. and global digital asset markets.
- An advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline.
