Chief Product Officer

Position Overview

We are collaborating with a partner company to recruit a visionary Chief Product Officer based in Saudi Arabia. This key executive will spearhead product innovation and growth in a dynamic consumer health and wellness sector, managing product strategy, R&D, scientific affairs, and commercialization initiatives. The role operates fully remotely and demands close collaboration with executive leadership and diverse teams to transform innovative concepts into market-leading products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and nurture high-achieving teams across product development, research, scientific, regulatory, and quality functions.
• Develop and implement a product innovation strategy, discovering new categories, ingredients, technologies, and trends.
• Design scalable systems and processes that expedite product development and elevate organizational efficiency.
• Supervise the creation of scientifically validated, compliant, and unique product formulations.
• Maintain product quality, consistency, supply chain robustness, and operational excellence throughout product lifecycles.
• Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and operations teams to formulate effective go-to-market tactics maximizing business outcomes.
• Promote a culture focused on excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement in product-related areas.
• Integrate emerging technologies including AI to speed innovation, enhance formulation quality, and shorten time-to-market.

Candidate Profile

• Over 15 years of advancing leadership experience in product, R&D, or innovation within consumer goods, health, nutrition, or similar sectors.
• At least 5 years leading sizeable product or research groups in supplements, functional foods, consumer packaged goods, or related domains.
• Demonstrated success bringing consumer products from inception to market launch and scale.
• In-depth knowledge of formulation science, ingredient sourcing, regulatory compliance, and product quality management.
• Proven ability to build and lead multidisciplinary teams spanning product, science, quality assurance, and development.
• Strong commercial insight aligning product strategies with growth, profitability, and brand goals.
• Experience developing scalable operational frameworks fostering sustained organizational impact.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement capabilities in fast-moving, expanding environments.
• Entrepreneurial approach balancing innovation, speed, operational discipline, and practical business concerns.
