About the Company

The organization is developing an integrated real estate and home services platform that brings together property management, brokerage, investment syndication, construction/home services, and additional adjacent lines of business over time.

Role Overview

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a hands-on second-in-command who can help take a founder-led, multi-division company from about $4M in current revenue to $10M+ within 12 months, with further growth expected beyond that. The position is intended for someone who wants to build operating infrastructure rather than simply preserve an existing setup.

Key Contributions

  • Convert the CEO’s strategic direction into measurable execution across several business units.
  • Strengthen accountability among leaders, teams, and operating divisions.
  • Improve visibility into financial performance, forecasting, and operational discipline.
  • Put stronger systems, organizational structure, and cross-functional coordination in place.
  • Reduce reliance on the founder by increasing leadership leverage across the business.
  • Help design the company for its next stage of scale and expansion.

Measures of Success

  • Support revenue growth from roughly $4M to $12M+ over the next period described by the employer.
  • Help enable growth to approximately double the team size.
  • Establish leadership rhythms, scorecards, and higher execution discipline across the organization.
  • Create clearer ownership, stronger consistency, and better operating alignment across divisions.
  • Lay the groundwork for future expansion into new service offerings and revenue streams.
  • Advance operational excellence and technology adoption across the business.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The company is seeking an experienced operator who has worked as a COO, VP of Operations, general manager, integrator, or in a similar executive role. The right person will have scaled service businesses through meaningful increases in revenue and organizational complexity, and will be comfortable leading in a founder-driven environment with limited handholding.

Work Environment and Compensation

This is a full-time role based in Newport Beach, CA, with an in-office or hybrid working structure. Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus performance-linked upside.

Fit and Non-Fit Criteria

You may be a strong match if you excel at execution, accountability, and leadership development; can balance strategic thinking with detailed operational work; and enjoy fast-moving entrepreneurial settings. This role is not suited to someone who prefers a fully polished organization, is better as a functional specialist than an enterprise-level operator, avoids conflict or difficult people decisions, wants title without ownership, or prefers to keep doing things the old way.
