Position Overview

The Chief Financial Officer will steer the organization’s financial direction, oversee capital planning and control, and safeguard financial stability while supporting long-term growth. The role spans financial services, digital assets, investment management, and international finance, with ownership of planning, financing, treasury, audit and compliance, and investor communications.

This senior leadership position reports to the CEO and the Board of Directors and plays a central part in strategic decisions and global expansion efforts.

Core Responsibilities

Build and guide the company’s long-range financial strategy and capital plan.
Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and capital structure to support business continuity.
Contribute to financing rounds, mergers and acquisitions, and cross-border capital initiatives.
Direct investment budgets and ensure effective allocation of financial resources.
Lead the finance function and manage the broader finance team.
Oversee accounting, tax, budgeting, and financial reporting frameworks.
Create streamlined and transparent finance processes.
Drive digital transformation and efficiency improvements within financial operations.
Set up internal controls and a robust financial risk management structure.
Ensure adherence to international finance, tax, and regulatory obligations.
Manage audit, compliance, and anti-money laundering matters.
Coordinate with regulators, legal advisors, and external auditors.
Handle financial communication with investors, shareholders, and the Board.
Present strategic financial analysis and operational recommendations.
Support valuation work, fundraising efforts, and capital market activity.
Participate in major business decisions and broader strategic planning.
Oversee international cash management and cross-border financial operations.
Bring working knowledge of digital assets, fintech, and blockchain-based financial structures.
Support international growth plans and market expansion strategies.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
Advanced professional credentials such as an MBA, CPA, ACCA, or CFA are preferred.
At least 15 years of experience in finance, investment, or corporate financial management.
Minimum 8 years in a senior finance leadership role or in a CFO position.
Background in international finance, fintech, digital assets, or cross-border business is preferred.
Strong command of financial management, capital operations, and risk control.
Working knowledge of IFRS is expected.
Experience in fundraising, M&A, and investment analysis is important.
Familiarity with global financial regulation and tax systems is required.
Excellent strategic judgment, leadership ability, communication skills, and investor-relations capability.
Comfort operating in a fast-growing and complex international environment.
