Overview
Recruitmark is collaborating with a reputable and expanding family-owned enterprise to recruit a Chief Financial Officer. This leadership role involves providing both strategic and hands-on financial management, serving as a reliable advisor while enhancing financial governance, reporting, and business-driven financial decisions. This position presents an excellent chance to establish and refine the finance department, instill robust financial discipline throughout the organization, and significantly contribute to sustained business growth and performance.
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with company Directors to formulate and implement finance strategies that facilitate sustainable expansion and fulfill long-term corporate objectives.
- Lead the deployment and enhancement of ERP systems, promote process optimisation, reinforce financial controls, and boost operational productivity.
- Deliver commercial analysis through financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting to guide strategic decision processes.
- Enhance and uphold financial governance, risk management, and reporting structures while fostering financial discipline organization-wide.
- Recruit, mentor, and oversee a proficient finance team, partnering with operational heads to enhance business performance, profitability, and scalability.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a relevant field; additional credentials such as CA, CPA, or MBA will be considered advantageous.
- Bring extensive senior finance leadership experience, demonstrating capacity as a trusted counselor to Directors and executive managers.
- Show proven expertise in driving finance transformation initiatives, specifically ERP implementations, process reengineering, and building scalable financial infrastructures.
- Have in-depth understanding of financial reporting standards, budgeting, forecasting processes, regulatory compliance, financial modelling, and corporate governance.
- Exhibit a strong commercial perspective, capable of influencing strategic choices and forming effective executive partnerships.
- Demonstrate outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities, with success in cultivating high-performing teams and steering organizational change.
