About the Company
A well-established manufacturing and trading group operating across Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and GCC countries is seeking a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its finance department during a significant growth phase. The company is currently preparing for an Initial Public Offering (IPO), presenting a unique chance for a strategic finance leader to influence the company’s future success.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the group. This role demands strong financial governance, regulatory adherence, strategic financial planning, treasury management, operational efficiency, and readiness for IPO.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting and financial functions across multiple group entities.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting aligned with IFRS standards.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements for the subsidiaries.
- Oversee executive financial reporting and analyze business performance.
- Supervise manufacturing costing, inventory valuation, and variance analyses.
- Monitor profitability within trading operations and enhance margin and cost efficiency.
- Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, financial modelling, and provide strategic planning insights.
- Manage group cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, CAPEX funding, and foreign currency risk.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, ZATCA, VAT, Zakat, withholding tax, and other local financial regulations.
- Lead both internal and external audit processes and improve internal controls and corporate governance.
- Oversee SAP ERP financial modules and drive automation and integration of finance, supply chain, and manufacturing systems.
- Lead and mentor finance teams across various locations, standardize policies, and promote continuous improvement.
- Manage the company's financial preparations for IPO, coordinating with banks, legal advisors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant area.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or SOCPA are preferred.
- Between 10 and 25 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
- At least 5 years serving as a CFO or similar senior financial leadership role.
- Strong background in manufacturing and trading sectors, multi-entity group consolidation, GCC/KSA environment, with preference for IPO experience.
Preferred Profile
- Fluency in English is required.
- Arabic language proficiency is an added advantage.
- Preference will be given to candidates based in Riyadh.
