Role Overview
This is a remote, full-time Chief Financial Officer position. The CFO will direct the company’s financial planning and operational finance functions, shaping strategy through budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and oversight of financial statements. The role calls for strong financial judgment, regulatory awareness, and the ability to turn data into practical guidance for investment and cost control decisions. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will be essential to ensure financial priorities stay aligned with business objectives and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute financial plans, budgets, and long-range strategies that support business goals.
- Oversee preparation, review, and interpretation of financial statements and reports.
- Use financial analysis to identify patterns, risks, opportunities, and forecast outcomes.
- Guide strategic decisions related to investments, spending, and cost optimization.
- Ensure financial processes and reporting remain compliant with applicable regulations.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to align financial direction with operational needs.
- Maintain high standards of accountability and ethical financial governance.
Qualifications
- Strong background in financial planning, budgeting, and broader finance leadership.
- Hands-on experience with financial statement preparation, analysis, and reporting.
- Well-developed analytical ability to evaluate data and anticipate trends.
- Leadership, organization, and decision-making skills suited to cross-functional collaboration.
- Comfort using financial software and related technology tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- CPA or MBA is strongly preferred.
- Experience in procurement within the hospitality sector is considered an advantage.
- Experience with NetSuite and QuickBooks is preferred.
