Job description
Role Overview
Dragon Phoenix Restaurant in Dooradoyle, Limerick is hiring a chef with strong experience in Chinese cooking. The role centers on preparing, cooking, and plating a range of traditional Chinese dishes to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Cook and present authentic Chinese menu items.
- Prepare fresh noodles and other dough-based items.
- Support the planning and development of menu offerings.
- Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
- Handle kitchen preparation and day-to-day operations efficiently.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working as a chef.
- Hands-on experience in Chinese cuisine is mandatory.
- Experience with noodle making, dough preparation, or other Asian cuisines is an added advantage.
- Ability to perform well in a busy, fast-moving kitchen.
Working Hours
This is a 39-hour per week position.
Employment Type
The role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.
Salary
The annual salary for this position is €36,605.
