Job description
Role overview
Baker Aviation is hiring a Sales/Operations Specialist to support its Part 135 charter business. The company operates more than 40 aircraft, including Citation X and CL300 jets. In this role, you will not only sell charter trips but also manage the operational follow-through for the trips you book. The position is designed as a single point of contact for brokers, helping maintain strong broker relationships and ensuring each trip is delivered as promised.
Key responsibilities
You will prepare charter quotes, confirm aircraft suitability, coordinate trip logistics, and oversee day-of-operation details from booking through flight completion. The job also includes tracking previously quoted opportunities, supporting brokers during booking, and monitoring trips for schedule changes or optimization opportunities.
Schedule and working expectations
This role is mainly based on weekday business hours, but because the operation runs on-demand around the clock, weekend coverage is required. You should expect to work at least one weekend day every week. You will remain accountable for the successful execution of the trips assigned to you.
Pay and benefits
The compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $130,000+ per year. Baker Aviation covers the full premium for its healthcare plan, which is valued at about $3,000 per month for a family plan. The company also contributes 3% to your 401(k) without requiring any employee contribution. In addition, the role includes an Employee Stock Ownership Program with no employee cost and a 6-year vesting schedule. PTO is provided at 10 days per year, available after 6 months of employment and subject to approval.
Operational focus
Beyond sales, this position requires close coordination with brokers, pilots, crew, FBOs, and other flight-operation stakeholders. You will be expected to manage trip details carefully, keep records current in Jet Insight, and help ensure smooth execution from quote to completion.
Additional details
This is a remote full-time position based in the United States.
