These are supported by advisory services designed to help organizations reduce risk and respond quickly as threats evolve.

Sophos works through a worldwide partner ecosystem that includes MSPs, MSSPs, resellers, distributors, marketplace integrations, and cyber risk partners. The company is headquartered in Oxford, U.K.

Role Summary

Sophos is hiring a Channel Marketing Manager for its North America channel marketing team. This role sits at the center of the company’s partner-led go-to-market model and is key to helping partners drive growth while also supporting customer protection against modern cyber threats.

You will partner with Channel Sales and partner stakeholders across the U.S. and Canada to design and deliver partner marketing initiatives that generate pipeline, deepen partner engagement, and contribute to stronger security outcomes. This is a hands-on individual contributor position with no direct reports, suited to someone who enjoys moving from strategy to execution, taking ownership of programs, and working across functions to deliver measurable impact.

The role reports to the Director of Channel Marketing, North America.

What You Will Do

  • Take ownership of marketing results for a selected group of high-priority North American partners, aligned with channel sales and regional marketing objectives to increase pipeline and net-new customer growth.
  • Design and run partner demand generation and go-to-market campaigns, using Sophos’ existing frameworks while also adjusting, improving, or testing new approaches where needed.
  • Collaborate with channel sales, partner managers, field marketing, and product teams to create joint plans that produce measurable partner-sourced pipeline, especially for new customer acquisition.
  • Develop strong relationships with priority partners through regular engagement, enablement, and reliable program delivery that reinforces the Sophos value proposition.
  • Manage partner marketing budgets and MDF, using performance information and partner feedback to evaluate outcomes, improve execution, and maximize return on investment.
  • Apply AI-based tools to simplify workflows, study partner performance, and scale delivery across multiple programs without reducing quality.
  • Travel is expected at a level of 15–20%.

What You Need

  • 3–5 years of experience in partner marketing or channel marketing, including direct work on partner-led or co-marketing programs; experience with national or strategic partners is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to build, launch, and improve partner marketing programs that support pipeline growth and partner success.
  • Strong project management and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across sales, marketing, and partner stakeholders.
  • Comfort using CRM and marketing tools such as Salesforce, PowerBI, and Asana to review performance, evaluate MDF return on investment, and refine programs using pipeline and conversion data.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools and automation to increase efficiency, produce insights, and strengthen marketing execution.
  • Clear and practical communication skills that help build trust and turn marketing plans into actions for both internal teams and partners.
  • Curiosity about cybersecurity and AI-driven security capabilities, along with a desire to learn and grow in a partner-first environment.
  • A BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related area, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role in the United States is between USD 95,000 and USD 158,000 per year. In addition to base pay, the role includes bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package. Final compensation depends on factors such as skills, training, location, experience, education, certifications, and business needs.
