Job description

About the Company

Beast Industries is a media and entertainment business built by Jimmy Donaldson, widely recognized as MrBeast. The company goes beyond YouTube, spanning digital media, philanthropy, consumer products, and new business ventures. Its focus is on creating entertaining content, driving meaningful impact, and pushing creative boundaries through innovation and storytelling.

Role Overview

The Channel Manager / Line Producer serves as the operational hub for a lifestyle and unscripted channel. This position is responsible for making sure each production is thoroughly planned, budgets stay on track, and shoot days run efficiently. It blends channel operations with hands-on production leadership, acting as the bridge between creative goals and practical execution.

This is a highly accountable, fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives in a lean environment. You will partner with the Creative Producer to bring content to life, work closely with the General Manager on financial and operational outcomes, and help establish the systems and infrastructure needed for the channel to grow without sacrificing quality or speed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end production planning, including schedules, budgets, locations, crew, logistics, and vendor management for each shoot.
  • Develop and oversee the channel’s production budget with the General Manager, monitoring spending live and identifying possible overruns early.
  • Run productions on set, keeping the day on schedule and making sure the Creative Producer has everything required to deliver the content.
  • Find, evaluate, and coordinate production contractors for each shoot, providing clear direction and accountability.
  • Handle all talent-related logistics such as travel, lodging, call times, and on-set support for on-camera talent.
  • Work with the General Manager on financial reporting, operational updates, and planning for production capacity.
  • Stay ahead of potential bottlenecks by solving issues before they affect upcoming shoots.
  • Create and document production workflows that support scale without compromising speed or quality.
  • Shield the creative team from operational distractions so they can stay focused on the work.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate brings strong production leadership experience, excellent organizational discipline, and the ability to stay composed when pressures rise. You should be comfortable managing multiple moving parts, communicating clearly, and taking decisive action when problems arise.

Additional Requirements

  • 4 to 7+ years of experience in production management, line producing, or channel operations for YouTube or digital video.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle production schedules and budgets from pre-production through final delivery.
  • Experience managing on-location shoots with small crews in dynamic, fast-moving settings.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational discipline.
  • Ability to remain calm, decisive, and solution-oriented under pressure.
  • Clear, proactive communication style with no surprises for the General Manager or Creative Producer.
  • Familiarity with YouTube channel workflows beyond physical production, including asset management, upload processes, and delivery, is preferred.
  • Experience setting up production systems for a new or early-stage channel is preferred.
  • Existing relationships with production crew or vendors in the Southeast US are preferred.
  • Background in lifestyle, culinary, or unscripted production is preferred.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Greenville, NC, with relocation support provided.

Benefits and Perks

  • Competitive compensation.
  • Medical coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield, plus dental, vision, and company-paid life insurance.
  • Employer contributions to Health Savings Accounts.
  • 401(k) plan with Safe Harbor company match.
  • Flexible vacation policy and paid company holidays.
  • Company-issued technology package.
  • Relocation support when applicable, including travel and company-provided housing for the first 90 days.
