About Julius Baer and the Role

The Client Screening Unit (CSU), part of the Client Documentation Services in the COO department within Private Banking, is tasked with conducting name screenings, reviewing findings, and performing quality assurance on screening activities carried out by various business units. The team collaborates proactively with internal stakeholders and ensures efficient and accurate processing of screening requests alongside handling inquiries and necessary escalations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive name screenings and searches for both prospective and existing clients.
- Assessing submission quality for name screening and requesting additional details from the Front Office when necessary.
- Reviewing and documenting screening hits appropriately and escalating confirmed or potential hits promptly within set timeframes.
- Delivering quality service support to internal clients including Relationship Managers and Assistant Relationship Managers.
- Performing quality assurance reviews on screening tasks undertaken by other business units as required.
- Commitment to process improvements and support of new initiatives including user acceptance testing and ad hoc tasks directed by the Head of Department.
- Collaborating with Compliance and other stakeholders to maintain adherence to regulatory laws, policies, and procedures.
- Demonstrating integrity, due diligence, fair customer treatment, conflict of interest management, ongoing development, risk management, and compliance with applicable regulations.
