Job description
Role Overview
Badger Infrastructure Solutions is looking for a CCTV Operator to support safe excavation and infrastructure work. In this position, you will run a CCTV camera truck to capture project details, help map work sites, and contribute to construction-related projects. The role suits someone who pays close attention to detail, values safety, and is comfortable working in field conditions.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a union position with an hourly wage range of $28.29 to $37.72. Benefits will be reviewed directly with the Branch Manager.
Key Duties
- Operate electromagnetic induction locating equipment along with its accessories to gather field data.
- Review project documents and complete safety inspections at the work site.
- Study maps, add clarifying notes, and update them as needed.
- Drive service vehicles, track equipment inventory, and ensure tools are stored safely.
- Travel to different cities and work in varied environments and site conditions.
- Use a computer for job-related tasks.
- Prepare digital locate sketches.
- Photograph locates and related field conditions.
What the Employer Is Looking For
Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and prior CCTV experience. NASSCO certification is considered an asset. A satisfactory driving record is required. The job also calls for physical capability to sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl repeatedly, as well as lift at least 50 pounds on a regular basis. Candidates must also be prepared to work outdoors for extended periods in all weather and site conditions.
