Role Summary

As a Category Manager for Amazon.in Private Brands, you will take ownership of an entire product category's end-to-end management including full P&L responsibility. Your role involves leading the launch cycle for new products and brands, while driving strategies to grow the category's revenue and profit.

Responsibilities

  • Increase profitability of existing product selection by focusing on key factors
  • Develop and introduce new products informed by customer and retail insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance the category growth agenda
  • Drive topline growth while maintaining profitability

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience working with Excel
  • Over 3 years of background in retail, operations, product or program management, business management or consulting, including negotiation and delivering results
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional/military experience of 3 or more years
  • Strong financial analysis skills with P&L ownership experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to handle large data sets to improve performance and processes
  • Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing strategies, promotions, inventory control, and product development
