Role Overview

The Cashier role is a full-time, on-location position situated in Dammam. This role entails accurately managing customer order payments, including cash, card, and digital transactions, and ensuring receipt and change issuance is handled correctly. Responsibilities include greeting patrons, responding to simple inquiries regarding menu items or promotions, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, including stocking necessary materials.

The position requires close cooperation with front-of-house and kitchen staff to streamline order processing and ensure prompt service. Adherence to company policies, maintaining the confidentiality of transaction details, and supporting superior customer service standards are key components of the job.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proficient numerical and cash handling skills with precision in operating POS systems and managing transactions.
• Effective customer service and communication abilities, with professionalism towards a diverse client base.
• Basic familiarity with computer operations and point-of-sale technology or willingness to learn these skills promptly.
• Capacity to handle a fast-paced hospitality environment, multitasking efficiently and maintaining composure under pressure.
• Dependable attendance, time management skills, and compliance with company standards and policies.
• Previous experience in cashier, retail, or hospitality is desirable but not a requirement.
• Educational background preferably includes a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as dictated by restaurant needs.
