Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Case Manager to join our Workers’ Compensation Nominal Insurer team located in Parramatta or Newcastle, NSW. This permanent, full-time role offers hybrid work arrangements with two days onsite weekly. You will oversee a portfolio of workers’ compensation claims, ensuring empathetic and efficient service to injured workers and collaboration with employers and service providers to achieve safe and prompt return-to-work outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Manage workers' compensation claims under the Nominal Insurer scheme to ensure timely and compliant resolutions benefiting injured employees and employers.
- Utilize detailed knowledge of relevant workers' compensation laws and guidelines for liability assessment, treatment coordination, and facilitating return-to-work processes.
- Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders including employers, injured workers, health practitioners, and internal teams to enhance customer-focused claims management.
- Maintain precise, regulatory-compliant documentation aligned with contractual and audit standards.
- Participate in initiatives aimed at improving processes and delivering superior service quality.
- Contribute positively within a team environment that emphasizes collaboration, skill development, and excellent customer outcomes.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience with workers' compensation claims and comprehensive understanding of applicable legislation and claim procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and influence outcomes confidently.
- A customer-oriented approach centered on positive results for all claim stakeholders.
- Calm and sound judgment in handling complex, sensitive, or high-pressure claim situations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic workplace.
