Role overview
As a Cart Attendant, you’ll help create a strong first and last impression for shoppers by keeping carts available, organized, and clean. This role involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions and supporting a smooth customer experience throughout the day.
Key duties
- Collect shopping carts from the parking area and return them to the store.
- Use the required equipment to transport carts safely and efficiently.
- Keep carts sanitary and in good condition for customer use.
- Help maintain a neat and welcoming store exterior.
- Provide service with a positive attitude, even in challenging weather.
Work schedule and location
This is a full-time onsite position in Lafayette, Indiana. The available shifts are Mid-Shift and Closing. The job location is Walmart Supercenter #1547, 4205 Commerce Dr, Lafayette, IN 47905, US.
Pay and additional compensation
The hourly pay range is $14 to $27 per hour. The actual rate will be at least the minimum wage required for the job location. In addition to base pay, annual or quarterly performance incentives may be available. Depending on the situation, premium pay of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may also apply based on schedule, facility, season, or the specific work being performed, and more than one premium may be available when eligibility conditions are met.
