Job description
Role overview
As a Cart Attendant, you help shape customers’ first and last experience at the store by keeping the cart area organized and making shopping easier from the parking lot to the entrance.
What you will do
- Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and return them to the store.
- Use equipment to transport carts safely and efficiently.
- Keep carts clean and sanitary for customer use.
- Help maintain a welcoming store exterior in all weather conditions.
Work schedule and location
This is a full-time, onsite role with part-time also available. Shifts offered include Mid-Shift and Closing. The position is based at Walmart Supercenter #991, 101 E I65 Service Rd S, Mobile, AL 36606, US.
Pay and additional compensation
The hourly wage for this position is $14 to $27 per hour. The actual rate will be at or above the minimum wage required for the location. Depending on circumstances, additional premium pay may range from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour. Premiums can vary by schedule, facility, season, or the type of work performed, and more than one premium may apply if eligibility criteria are met. Annual or quarterly performance incentives may also be available.
